The case of Nimisha Priya: The renowned Muslim Cleric Kanthapuram AP Abobacker Musliyar has become a key figure in ensuring the delay of the planned execution of the Indian nurses in Yemen.

Abubakr conducted interviews with the religious authorities in Yemen, who were in contact with the Talala Abdo Mahdi, a Yemeni national who allegedly killed in 2017.

The Center informed the Supreme Court that the government could not face the execution of 16 July in the case of the sister.
