Vancouver International Airport said that nine incoming flights were redirected during the incident because temporary traffic was carried out at the west coast airport.

One passenger published a video of an incident where police cars and officers who were approaching a small aircraft on one of the landing pathways saw themselves.
“Operations seem to be back normally,” passengers mentioned X.
“But a small aircraft was chased on the landing path by police cars. When it stopped, the pilot came back and held on the ground by the police. The plane is still in a taxi surrounded by police cars.”
Matthew Brosseau was on board the YVR aircraft and the second in a row to take off when they suddenly stopped. He said the plane was delayed by almost 25 minutes.
