The main Minister of MK Stalin led the city of Mayiladuturai Roadshow on Tuesday and drew thousands of DMK cadres and the public. The event culminated in the unveiling of the statue of the former main Minister M. Karunanidhi in the DMK office on the Katcheri road.
The roadshow started near the RTO office and covered the main streets of the city with enthusiastic crowds lining the route, waving the party flags, and increasing slogans. Ministers of KN nezru, MRK Panneerselvam and Siva V. Meyanathan accompanied the main minister.
Previously, two sculptures of Karunanidhi were unveiled – one in the village of Sothiyakudi near Kollidam, and the other in the village of Sembathanur near Srkazhi.
