Why is Epstein’s investigation a source of so many conspiracy theories?
The case has many elements of real life that promote speculation and drive conspiracy theories: a rich, politically connected person who has been close to a terrible crime for years, the obvious unwillingness of government officials to punish the perpetrator, and then for seemingly suspicious circumstances.
The Epstein case offers a unique new reversal on these elements. The Conservatives caught up with Epstein known with former President Bill Clinton, while the liberals point to their annual friendship with Trump and his death in custody during the first term.
