Air India announced on Tuesday that between August 1 and 30, September will take place from Ahmedabad to London Heathrow three years and will replace its current London Gatwick service. Currently, the airline operates five weekly flights on the Ahmedabad – Gatwick route.
In addition, Air India said it will launch a partial recovery of its flight plans, which were reduced after it decided to observe the “safety break” after the Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which claimed 260 lives.
According to the airline, some services will continue from 1 August compared to a reduced schedule in July, and expected to return from 1 October.
“From August 1 to September 30th, Air India will operate three week flights between Ahmedabad and London (Heathrow) and will currently replace five weekly flights between Ahmedabad and London (Gatwick),” the airline said.
