The strongly condemning police manipulation with the main Minister Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Omar Abdullah in Srinagar, the left sides accused Lieutenant Manoj Sinhu of undermining the smooth functioning of the properly elected state government.
The CPI policy office (m) said in a statement in Nový Delhi that the central government, led by BJP, is trying to promote its own dictats and regression. An example of this is the abolition of a holiday on the martyrdom. “On the other hand, the Maharaja birthday, responsible for killing fighters for freedom, is declared on vacation. Governor Lieutenant appointed by the central government undermines the smooth functioning of a properly elected state government,” the policy office said.
CPI (m) also criticized the arrest of various political leaders J&K, including Yusuf Tarigami CPI (M), which was prevented from paying tribute to martyrs. The party demanded that the holidays on the martyrs’ day be restored “to respect and protect the democratic rights of the J&K population”. She also demanded an apology to Governor Lieutenant for a “attack” on cm.

“Violation of democratic standards”
The Secretary General of CPI D. Raja said the incident was “absolutely unacceptable”.
“It is not just a violation of democratic standards. It is an obvious attack on our conscience and a reminder of how far the administration in J&K falls under an authoritarian irresponsible rule. CPI requires immediate restoration of statehood – no if, no buts – no representatives of people can actually serve instead of being silenced and subordinated.”
Mr. Abdullah, in post X, said he was blocked by prayers on the graves of martyrs on Sunday in the NaqsBandh Sahib Shrine in Khawaja Bazar, where 22 civilians were killed during the uprising against the rulers of Dogra. The main minister adjusted the fenced wall of the space because the security forces blocked the entrance to the cemetery. The police officer tried to prevent him from the “Fateha” offer in the cemetery.
