SP (Railway Police) Rahul Meena together with Higher GRP officials produce train robbers in PUNE in front of the media, in Chittoor on Monday
The Railway Police (Guntakal Division) said on Monday that two key members of the gang involved in a number of organized crimes on various express trains on Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and neighboring countries in the last year were arrested on Sunday in Renigunt.

The accused were identified as Jalandhar Mahirya Pawar (50) and Kohinoor Navnath Pawar (24), both residents of the Pune district in the Mahari. Gang’s Modus Operandi was to handle railway signaling cables and stop trains on the isolated sections of the track between 2:00 and 4:00
Once the trains stopped, the gang members would target women sitting or sleeping near the windows in sleepers and general coaches and catch gold chains and other valuables. In a series of incidents of gang, he also allegedly joined coaches and plundered passengers in KniFepoint.
Special teams with the support of the Railway Renigunta and Kadap police units were created when purchasing incidents. The team scored in Sholapur and Pune and finally charged two members of the gang in Renigunta.
SP said they both confessed to their involvement in at least nine incidents of theft and tried to robbery. The list of crimes included the main incidents with chain handles near the railway stations Mamandur, Mungilipiptu and Siddampalli in the districts of Tirupati and Chittoor.
The police received two cutters and two knives from the accused. According to the investigation, the gang reportedly has caught over 242 grams of gold ornaments in recent weeks during their errands in the combined Chittoor district in recent weeks.
SP stated that there was an effort to trace other gang members and restore the lost property. SP stated that coercive agencies intensify the safety modules, including the authentication of fingerprints, supervision of drones and reinforced patrols to prevent the robbery of trains from being repeated.
