
New Delhi: The General Auditor of Pakistan has identified the main financial discrepancies of millions of rupees in the Pakistanic cricket council (PCB), including unauthorized appointments and excessive payments to corresponding officials. The audit report points to cases of corruption during 2023, when the Council was led by Mohsin Naqvi and Zak Ashraf.The key findings include the abuse of 63.39 million Pakistani rupees paid to the police for providing meals during the security duties of international matches. The report also emphasizes the unauthorized hiring of three coaches under 16 years in the high -performance Karachi center, resulting in a payout of 5.4 million rupees.Furthermore, the matches officials were overparted by 3.9 million rupees, which raised concerns about the possible determination of matches. The report also challenges the hiring of the media director with a large monthly salary of 900,000 rupees.
