Former cricket R Ashwin criticized the referee Paul Reiffel on his show YouTube Ash Ki Baat and questioned some decisions made by an official during the third test between India and England with the Lord. Ashwin said that the decision was unfair to India and asked the ICC to look at the matter.
The controversy began on the 4th day of the third test when the referee Paul Reiffel refused the goal of Mohammad Siri against Joe Root. DRS showed that the ball was just about trimming the stumps, but the decision remained with the calling of the referee and the root gave a rescue rope.
Siraj, visibly disappointed, showed an angry view of Reiffel after calling. The tension escalated further in the final shift of the test match when Indian Captain Shubman Gill was distributed to Brydon Cars delivery, although there is no contact between the bat and the ball.
Ashwin did not delay and expressed his thoughts on his YouTube channel and said, “Whenever India bowls, he always feels not out.
He also remembered another incident where Indian dough was distributed, although there was a wide gap between BAT and Ball, and Reiffel ignored it. “I own a car, a sedan that I can park through the gap between the bat and the ball. It is clear that it wasn’t out,” Ashwin said.
He added that his father said India would never win when Paul reiffel referees.
“My father watched the match with me. And he said,” Whenever Paul Reiffel comes, India won’t win. “”
Ashwin was not the only cricket criticized by Paul’s referee. Anil Kumble and Sunil Gavascar also questioned the decision of the judges during a live comment.
