The Southeast Zone of the Commissioner’s Working Group, together with the CHATRINAK Police, arrested two individuals for illegal procurement and selling Mephentermine sulphate, a drug that is commonly abused to improve the body. A total of 423 bottles were confiscated from the duo along with two motorcycles, two mobile phones and cash in the amount of 9,430 GBP.
The accused were identified as Mohammed Zuber, 30, a model based in Falaknum, and Veradandi Vinay Kumar, 43, which operates the medical distribution industry in Chengicherle.

The investigation revealed that the denter was also addicted to the drug and gained it through Vinay Kumar, who in turn bought it from one chapel of Gautam based in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.
The case has been reserved and further investigations are underway.
