Four construction workers suffered injuries after a concrete board retreated on Saturday morning in the building on the University University campus.
Workers, all Odisha natives, worked on the 10th floor when the album collapsed, causing them to fall to the ninth floor. The incident was reported shortly after the workers started their work on the day.
They suffered minor injuries and were immediately moved to the nearby hospital for treatment. The police said that all therapeutic expenses are carried by university management. According to an officer from the IT Corridor Polidor Police, the accident included focused workers involved in structural work on the upper floors.
The case has been reserved and the investigation is underway.
