
In order to ensure the effective implementation of the Act on Information (RTI), which aims to bring transparency in administration in addition to the control of corruption, the State Information Committee of Karnataka advised the government to include a lesson in the curriculum in front of the university and the degree of courses.
Karnataka State Information Commissioners appealed to the main secretary Shalini Rajneesh to include this in the agenda for a high -level meeting on the RTI law, chaired by another main secretary Gaurav Gupta on July 14th.
According to official release, they also suggested the government to recommend the inclusion of the RTI lesson in the studio and the Audit Council for the Revision of Universities.
The statement of concern that it is still necessary to create awareness of the RTI Act between government employees, although since the entry into force of legislation, 20 years have passed, the Commissioners have suggested that RTI should be part of the Carnataka Commission.
Similarly, it was necessary to provide training on the RTI Act and officers on the lines of training on various issues that were passed on to them, stated and proposed that RTI should be one of the subjects transmitted by the District Training Institute.
The Commissioners pointed out that the RTI control panel on the DPAR website was not effectively used, they said that the responsibility for the management of this control panel should be entrusted to the information committee.
They also suggested that in the Karnataka Mahiti Judge should be built another floor so that two court halls of the Commission, which are currently in rented buildings, can be accommodated in the main building.
They also tried to make the militants published in the Court Halls of the Information Committee and assigned to the Information Commissioners.
