Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will face each other in the large finals of the male singles in Wimbledon on Sunday 13th July at Court Center. Sinner will try to win his first title in the All England Club after decimating 24-Time Grand Slam Champion in direct sets in the semifinals on Friday.
On the other hand, Alcaraz is trying to become the fifth man after Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic to win three consecutive titles of Wimbledon. After winning 24 matches on trot, which included the Italian open, the French Open and Queen’s Club Championships, Alcaraz is in the form of his life.
The upcoming clash is expected to be a thriller, especially after Duo faced the longest French open, Extension 5 hours and 29 minutes. Alcaraz was two sets before returning to win the match 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6.
It was also the second longest Grand Slam final after the Australian Open 2012, where Rafael Nadal and Djokovic fought for five hours and 53 minutes. After winning five matches on Trot against Sinner, Alcaraz could have only a psychological advantage in the finals.
