In a significant step towards inclusive public transport, 200 state road transport buses in Karnataka (KSRTC) will be introduced in Mysur with facilities that will help the visually handicapped person.
The Karnataka Ramalinga Reddy Minister will start a new initiative on Monday, July 14, and the concept includes installation of audio equipment on buses that users activate through a remote key to provide routes and other details.
Pushpa AmarNath, Vice -Chairman of the Committee on the Implementation of State Warranty in Karnataka, said on Saturday on Saturday that this initiative was accepted in cooperation with BIZ India and will help the visually handicapped person on buses that are deployed on the road.
She said it was just a congress and his leadership, which can imagine these ideas and implement socially inclusive projects. She also attributed Mr. Reddy to the takeover of the initiative.
The action scheduled for 13:00 will coincide with the Shakti Scheme celebration of 500 free rides for women across Karnataka, Mrs. Amarnath said. On the occasion of this success, a special event entitled Mahila Shakti Sambrahma will be held in Mysur, she added.
She attributed the main Minister Siddaramaiah as the success of the Shakti scheme, described him as a “gift for women of Karnataka” and a symbol of newly discovered mobility and dignity.
“Although we were not nearby when the country gained independence, women in Carnation are now experiencing commuting freedom-free travel without fear, confidently and confidence,” Mrs. Amarnath said.
Scheme Shakti has been standing since its release in the MYSURU district of 776.8 Crore in the Mysurus district, while the expenditure of the state exceeded 12,733 GBP Crore, she added.
