
Police carried out Nidra in the villages of Pall Nidra to increase the confidence between people and spread awareness among people about cyber crimes and the bad effects of drugs in the districts of Kurnool and Nandyal.
Based on the instructions of the police leader Vikrant Patera, police officials remained within the program overnight in six problematic villages. The staff interact with villagers, learned about their problems and advised them.
The villagers were also informed about cyber crimes. The staff told them not to click on unknown links, not to reveal OTP with others and be wary of the calls of unknown individuals. The police also promoted the 1930 help line to report computer crime.
The staff also called on the villagers to wear helmets while driving on two wheels.
On Friday evening, Nidra’s pale in the village of Chintelayapalle in Kolimigundla Mandal took place. Police Kolimigundla interact with villagers and expanded awareness of computer crimes and road safety, as well as asking women to withdraw the Shakti application for their safety.
