The former state tennis player Radhika Yadav was cremated on Friday (July 11, 2025) in the evening, the day after her father allegedly shot her dead.
Deepak Yadav, 49, who confessed to crime and told the police that he was mocked to live from her income from the tennis academy, was made on Friday in court and advanced to a one -day police custody.

Deepak Yadav confessed to shooting Radhika because he was often ridiculed for life from her income, police sources said. The police also issued a statement in which it claimed that the tennis academy of Radhik was the bone of the dispute between the father and the daughter.
“Her father was not satisfied with it,” said police spokesman Sandeep Singh.
“On many occasions he told her to close it, but disagree. He was angry, shot her,” the spokesman added.
