His exceptional bowling performance helped India to limit England to 387 runs in their first shifts, while India finished Day 2 to 145/3.Bumhrah’s journey to five goals began on the day of the opening when he released Harry Brook. The second day continued his impressive form and claimed four more key goals, including Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer, completed their five and earned a place for the prestigious Lord.In a shared BCCI video, Bumrah returned to the dressing room with hugs all around. Later he revealed that he would take one game at the same time and save these stories for adult years of his son Angada.“The reality is that I was tired. I can’t jump around as 21 years old. I was happy to contribute. The name on the Honors Council feels good. It’s something I can say to my son when it grew up,” said Bumhrah, who was rested for Edgbaston test.The Indian bowling attack showed collective efforts with Mohammed Sraji and Nitish Kumar Reddy supporting Bumrah after two goals.
