
This week, the Government Hospital (MGMGH) in Tiruch successfully performed the surgery of coronary arteries (CABG) on a 57 -year -old man.
According to official release, a patient who had coronary heart disease (CAD) and severe hypertension reported complaints about chest pain and breathless during exertion. This was eventually diagnosed as a triple disease, a form of CAD, where all three main coronary arteries supplying blood to the heart are significantly narrowed or blocked by accumulation of plaque.
The patient was proven for bilateral carotids and successful grafting of the skin on the lower limbs.
The patient was made an optional six -hour surgery, with the left inner upper artery and a large saphenic vein were harvested from the bilateral lower limb.
In accordance with this, the left inner upper artery ended artery at the end to the side of the anastomodic (surgically connected) with the left front descending artery and a large saphenic vein was grafted at various places on the aorta.
The patient was maintained on extended postoperative ventilation with supportive care and intensive heart monitoring, released. After 16 hours of ventilation support, he was former. Once its vital symptoms have been found to be stable, the patient was released on 8 July.
