On Friday, the Indian Election Commission (ECI) announced on Friday that more than 74% of the 7,89,69,844 voters in Bihar submitted their list for the statement in the State.
“The last date for the collection of the list is 25 July,” the Commission said in an official statement.

In the second phase of the SIR exercise, officers at the stall level (BLOS) perform a house campaign to help voters and collect the completed forms of the list. “Field level officials, including 38 district election officials, electoral registration officers (EROS), who deal with all election districts 243, and 963 EROS assistant (EROS), oversees progress,” ECI said.
According to the commission, the list of enumeration is smoothly digitized and recording. “In accordance with paragraph 3 (h), the instructions of Sir BLOS have successfully digitized and recorded the 3.73 crore forms via the BLO/Ecinet application, from the total collected,” the statement said.

The vote panel also stated that Ecinet was implemented a new module for verifying the recorded Eros and Eros forms. “From 18:00 today was 5,87,49 463 enumeration – which is 74.39% of the total – collected over the last 17 days of the release of Sir on June 24, 2025,” he added.
The Commission noted that a total of 77,895 BLO was working on the ground, of which 20,603 newly mentioned. “More than four Lakh volunteers are supported by elderly, people with disabilities, sick and other vulnerable populations, along with 1.56 lakh proactive agents at the level of the stand mentioned by all recognized political parties,” the statement said.
