Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zlensky launched a conference on the recovery of Ukraine and, in a pointed message, promoted a bold step to redirect frozen Russian assets towards the recovery of Ukraine.
“Europe should clearly agree that frozen Russian assets should go towards recovery of Ukraine,” he said.
“Not only the income of these assets, but the assets themselves must be used – and much more active than now – to help save lives.”
Russian strikes as “terrorism”
The President opened his address by reference to another night attack on Kiev and described the ongoing Russian attacks on civilian areas as a terror campaign.
“Last night they started another massive attack on Ukraine, especially on our capital Kiev,” he said Zlensky.
“This is pure terrorism … That’s exactly what Putin wants – to suffer from our people, escape from Ukraine and for homes, schools, so that life is destroyed everywhere, not just near the front lines.”
Call to Initiative for Reconstruction
He began a conference on recovery of Ukraine with direct appeal to international leaders and urged them to unite in a large initiative for reconstruction.
“We should develop it together,” he told Zlenic participants, stressing that the reconstruction of Ukraine is not just a charity act. “It’s also about your countries, your companies, technologies, your jobs. The way we build our country can also modernize your infrastructure and industries.”
“Increase your investment when Russia increases attacks”
Russian sending reports on peace negotiations was driven and Moscow rejected the statement as misinformation.
“Putin refused every proposal of peace and escalated violence,” he said. “I invite all our partners: Increase your investment when Russia increases your attacks.”
“Invited only friends”
He explained that only nations would be included in the effort to recover in accordance with the cause of Ukraine.
“Only friends are asked to be part of the economic and technological recovery of Ukraine,” he said.
“Not those who help Russia continue this war.”
Increasing air defense and building a modern air force
He thanked the international allies for their continuing support, and Zelena called Ukraine a rapid military modernization.
“We did it in record time. No other country has changed from Soviet aircraft on the F-16 and it quickly said,” he said.
He also called for increased support for the support of Ukrainian air defense systems.

Bring the kids home
He also increased the humanitarian crisis of Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russian forces during the conflict.
“We have to explore all possible ways to bring our children home to their families, to Ukraine to not forget who they are.”
Rebuilding in the middle of the debris
The two -day conference on the restoration of Ukraine comes when Ukraine enters the fourth year of war on a full scale from the Russian invasion of 2022. The aim of the assembly is to encourage global support and long -term economic investment because Ukraine is trying to restore infrastructure, strengthen security and restore civil life.
