The SHAROOR Congress MP (July 9, 2025) seemed to have increased relatively few eyebrows in political circles with a contribution to social media on its assumed public support as a future candidate for the main minister in Kerala.
On his profile X, he shared a survey finding as the best choice as the main minister of the opposition united democratic front (UDF).

Keral Vibe 2026, which also indicated a strong anti-non-cell wave in Kerala, showed that 28.3% of those who conducted the survey chose Mr. Tharoor as a UDF candidate with a faction, according to an article shared by him.
Thiruvananthapuram MP is coming at a time when his recent position after a panelgam terrorist attack invited sharp criticism in Congress, some of which were considered a defensive party.

Kerala is scheduled to cross to the assembly in April next year, because the five -year period of the second LDF government led by the CPI veteran (m) will end Pinarayi Vijayan.
