Former Minister and leader BRS Harish Rao said that his party was pushing the privileged proposal in the legislative assembly and the legislative council against the main Minister A. Revant Reddy for organizing “closed” irrigation projects and water rights with Congress lawmakers on Wednesday.
“Instead of organizing an open discussion, it is shameful that CM lacks the courage to call for an open discussion. These are obvious insults of democratic values and violations of legislative privileges,” he said in a press release.
He strongly condemned the “unfounded and misleading” statement of Mr. Revant Reddy on irrigation and water rights in Telangana and tried to turn the tables accusing the government of Congress of the “mortgage of Telangan’s correct share in water resources” and try to “introduce people with devised data and performances”.
The leader BRS said that people “laugh” to the government to ignore farmers’ requirements for water supply by activating irrigation pumps, and instead focus on “PowerPogand presentations filled with propaganda”. He accused the Minister of irrigation Ustem Kumar Reddy and Minister of Finance Bhatti Vikramark of the fact that he re -issued their ignorance by “parroting deceptions”.
“The inability to confront the truth, you are trying to deceive the telangan with false statistics and misinformation. The whole Telangana society is disgusted with repeated lies and the betrayal of Congress,” Mr. Harish Rao said. The former minister challenged the government’s claim to irrigate 50 lakh acres in the connected AP and called it an “absolute lie”. “If you have the courage, show us evidence. The fact is that BRS irrigated 48.74 Lakh acres in just nine and a half years.
“It was the Government of Congress that left the PRANAHITA-Chevella project because of its own” ineffectiveness “and accepted the unfair 299: 512 Krishn’s ratio of water sharing.
Mr. Rao also accused CM of “sabotation” Medigadda Barrage for disparate despite the recommendations of “NDSA and readiness L&T”. The government is now plotting to transfer the water of Godavari and Krishna to Andhra Pradesh via Banakacherl, he added.
