Governor and Chancellor Thaawwarchand Gehlot named prof. Vishwanatha, professor of economics at Mangalore University, as vice -chairman of the Bengalur Economic School, Dr. Br Ambedkar (base).
After more than a year, the base has a new VC. Post VC is unoccupied from June 21, 2024, while the possession of prof. NR Bhanumurty ends. D. Rajashekar, Director of the Institute of Social and Economic Changes (ISEC), was appointed as an authorized VC of the University and even his tenure ended on May 31, 2025 due to the supernatural at his parent institution.
According to officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, there was a delay in appointment because the panel appointed to submit the recommendations for the place of the vice -chairman insisted on the fact that the ministry should go to advertising to the national level.
