The six-month-old tiger, who fell into the digestor in the old biogas plant in the village of Bidagal in the Sargur Forest in Sub-Division HD Kote, was rescued on Wednesday by forest department staff.
The plant belonged to Navin from the village and, looking at the tiger, informed the forest staff that calmed it down and moved it to the rescue and rehabilitation center Chamundeshwari in Koorgalli on the outskirts of Mysuru.
The male tiger was subjected to a medical examination and the authorities said it was healthy.
