In a cooling television address, a higher Iranian official Javad Laryan warned that US President Donald Trump could be murdered in relaxation at his Florida Estate.
“Trump has done something he can no longer tan in Mar-A-Lago,” Larijans said on Iranian state television, according to the London report Iran International. “When he lies there with the stomach in the sun, a small drone could hit him in the navel. It’s very simple.”
Larijani, close to the advisor of the highest leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, underlining the nature of a high -level threat.
Ongoing tension
The threats of the assassination are a new phase in the long -term conflict in the US and Iran, which powered by Qasso Soleimani from 2020.
Cleric declares Trump “Muharib”
Grand Ayatollah Naser Makar Shirazi, the highest figure in Shiite Islamic jurisprudence, has previously issued a statement that was widely interpreted as Fatwa – a religious edict – on Trump.
“Any regime or individual threatening the leader of the Islamic Ammus and acting on these threats, which qualifies as Muharib,” he wrote, according to Tehran Times. According to Shia Islamic law, Muharib is someone who spreads terror or mess – a punishment death.
The statement came in a direct response to Trump’s verbal attacks on Ayatollah Khamenei, after a deadly 12 -day conflict including Iran, Israel and the United States early this year.
Trump: “I saved Khamenei”
During the June speech, Trump made a stunning claim that during the conflict he had the opportunity to murder the highest leader Khamenei – but he decided not to be.
“I saved him from a very nasty and disgusting death,” Trump said, adding, “I knew where he was hiding.”
Hardline Iranian media requires Trump’s death
5th April 2025 published Kayhan, a newspaper closely aligned with the Iranian highest leader, a column openly defending Trump’s assassination.
“It’s a way out of the line! Every day, revenge for the blood martyr Soleimani, a few bullets will be fired into their empty skull and will drink from the cottage cursed death,” Fox News read.
The threat followed by Trump’s warning against Iran that “if he did not make an agreement, there would be a bombing” and its proposal to introduce secondary tariffs.
Dojsted by IRGC land to kill Trump
In November 2024, the US Ministry of Justice revealed that Iranian agent Farhad Shakeri was charged with a conspiracy to murder the then elected President Donald Trump. According to the submission, Shakeri has acted on behalf of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
Two alleged conspirators, Eric Loadholt and James Rivera were also arrested. The trio reportedly worked on American soil on the location and focus of Iranian dissidents and high -ranking Americans.
He revealed that October 7, 2024, Shakeri received direct orders from IRGC to “invent a plan aimed at elected President Donald Trump”. Later he claimed federal agents that he had no intention to complete the plan on the IRGC timeline.

Two attempts to assassinate in 2024
The US Secret Service has already thwarted two attempts to assassinate Trump in less than a year:
14th July 2024 Trump was shot at a gathering in a Butler in Pennsylvania and suffered a minor ear injury. After firing several rounds, the attacker was killed by secret service agents.
September 16, 2024, Trump was again the finish line, this time while playing golf in Florida. The agents noticed a shooter with a rifle in the AK-47 style and started fire. The suspect escaped briefly, but was later detained. According to Sheriff Martin County William Snyder, the man showed “no emotions” when the officers were stopped.
