Representative Minister Maharashtra Ekath Shinde responded to the incident of the ruling leader Shiv Sanjay Gaikwad, who threw a worker in Hosteno Hosten in Mlas, Mumbai, allegedly after being served by obsolete food.
Shinde dealt with controversy and stated that although it does not support violence, individuals have the right to seek legal action for complaints.
“He vomited, who was angry, and so he responded. Although I do not support violence, if there is a problem, we have the right to take legal action, but beating someone is not right,” said Shinde PTI.
Shinde’s statement comes after the video has appeared online, showing that Gaikwad is slapping the Canteen worker, which took place on Tuesday evening at Akashvani Mla. His actions have triggered criticism from the main Minister Mahashtra Devendry Fadnavis, who said, “He does not send such behavior the right message.”
Gaikwad’s answer
After the video became viral, Gaikwad claimed that he was served with poor food. He also said that rodents move freely in the kitchen and more people reported that they had discovered lizards and pieces of rope in food. So Gaikwad said he was forced to respond in the “style of Shiv hay” because his previous complaints about food quality were not solved.
“For the last 10-15 years, I have been visiting the hostel of Hlas and raised complaints several times. On Tuesday evening, when I went down to meet the dining room staff, even other people also admitted that the food I delivered was just bad taste, but it was rotten.
“I’m finally a human being. I had to resort to the reaction of Shiv hay, because all other efforts were ineffective,” he said.
No regret, says Gaikwad
Gaikwad, who claimed any regret over the slap of the dining room, said, “I am and a warrior. I lost control after my complaints remained unheard of. Despite several complaints if no one pays attention to what one should do? Should I die?
