Ashwin spoke on his YouTube channel and said, “Rishabh Pant is no longer a newcomer. So now I want to judge Rishabh Pant to his own standards. I want to compare it against Rishabh’s pants.”

Ashwin acknowledged that comparison with Adam Gilchrist is common, but he feels that they do not make justice Pant’s All-Round Game. “People often compare him with a gilchrist, but he’s not.
