Flavio Cobolli vs Novak Djokovic
Djokovič’s persecution of 25. Major was almost Misse’s story when he was eliminated in three semifinals for the second year and lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final.
38 -year -old Serbia has been tested again in the last 16 years and the first ensemble dropped to Alex de Minaur, Australia, while struggling with double disorders and wandering forehands. Djokovic, however, gathered to claim three more sets.
“He exhibited my game and revealed my weaknesses,” Djokovic said about de Minaur. “I went to a kind full of locking regime … I was able to do what I wanted to do and swing through the ball.”

“He does not give me as a Grasscourt brand with his game, but has reached the quarterfinals,” Djokovic remarked of 23 years old, which first achieved the last eight of the Great Slam.
“It is to be beaten by Marin Cilic and several big servers and grass experts, so huge recognition. He is a great fighter.”
Cobolli, with only two titles of the clay set on the ATP tour, was much surprised by its rapid improvement in grass. Its rise exposes the veteran Djokovich the risk of another fall, only a shy summit.
Iga Swiatlek vs Ludmila Samsonova
SWIATEK, known as the “queen of clay” for her dominance on this surface, has developed newly discovered comfort on grass courts and for the second time she got into the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in her career.
The five -time Grand Slam winner looked natural on the grass this year and easily postponed his last two rivals when looking for his first Wimbledon title.
“I feel like I’m doing a great job when I learn how to play on the grass. I feel like, more comfortable. I feel that this process has some logic,” Swiatus said, thinking about her growth after reaching her first grass finals last month on bad Homburg.
“It’s hard when expectations are high and people speak as if you were underestimated. I think this year is just different.”
The 24-year-old pole enters its quarterfinals confidence against the Russian 19. Semen Samson, after winning all four of their previous meetings-when never on the grass.
“He’s a player who likes fast surfaces,” SWIIATEK said. “He is also quite experienced, so it will be a challenge. I will prepare in the same way as from any other match and I will be ready.”

American Ben Shelton, who has lost the last five meetings, considers this quarterfinals a golden opportunity to achieve his first Wimbledon semifinals.
