Televan Power Generation Corporation (TG-Genco) authorities ensure that the second unit 5×800 Megawatt Yadadri thermal power plant in Veerlapal in Nalgonda district at the end of this month. One unit was put into operation in January this year.
According to the chairman and CEO of TG-Genco S. Harish, UNIT-2 was commissioned in January this year and the unit-1 will be commercially carried out commercially at the end of this month. The remaining three units would be entered until February another.
On the basis of 50,000 tonnes of coal every day, when all five units become functional, YTPPs gained four Singareni coaling at the southern central railway (one rake carries about 4,000 tonnes of coal) and the requirement of all five units would require 12-14 rakes and coal) from December this year.
CMD said Genco built a railway line from the JANPAHAD ship to YTPS instead of 500 crore. The SCR authorities attended the meeting that they were fully prepared for the transport of coal needed for YTPS with the existing railway network.
The railway authorities also stated that they were doubling the railway lines between Dornakal-Bhadrachalam Road and Motamarri-Vishnupuram to deal with increasing traffic. Railway officials proposed Genco to explore other alternative sources of coal supply to YTPS request, because the Collieries need to be able to satisfy future demand.
The meeting was attended by the director of Genco B. Nagya (Coal & Logistics) and A. Ajay (civilian), SCR K. Padmaja, R. Sudarshan and others.
