The State Minority Commission ordered the authorities to complete the remaining construction work of the mother and the child in SAT Hospital as soon as possible.
The Commission made a case of Suo Moto based on the report that the mother and child of the block in the SAT Thiruvananthapuram hospital were not functional even after its inauguration. Commission Chairman AA Rasheed issued a directive to the authorities at a special meeting held at the Commission headquarters.
Superintendant SAT Hospital informed the commission that it is expected that work will start within two weeks and will be completed in eight months. The Commission, which approved the reports, ordered the authorities to take the necessary steps to complete the work and make the building fully functional by December 2025 and submit a schedule of work at the next meeting.
