On Monday morning (July 7), forty -two members of the progressive Union of progressive democratic students (PDSU) were involved when they tried to achieve the residence of the main Minister A. Revant Reddy.
West Zone DCP SM Vijay Kumar said the police deployed a bandobast after receiving information about the planned visit. Representatives allegedly wanted to mount pressure on the government to deal with their long -waiting requirements, including immediate release of arrears for paying fees and paying the waiting scholarships.
“Individuals were detained near the entrance point to CM residence and taken into a preventive custody,” the officer confirmed.
