The leaders of all party unions JAC from Visakhapatnam Port said that working codes will deprive workers of their right to go into a strike. As soon as a compulsory strike is issued, labor workers would admit reconciliation, after which workers lose the right to strike.
The head of JAC, who dealt with a media conference on Monday (07th July), said that new working codes would also prepare workers about their right to create in the department to fight for their rights. They argued that before the Center was made by working laws, various experiments had been carried out in the last 10 years, such as unregistered trade unions created in various industries of leadership and government.
JAC port leaders were looking for the main port agreement concluded in September 2024 and the withdrawal of the Act on the Amendment to the main port bodies 2025 and the withdrawal of the system of leasing the main ports within the national scheme of monetization.
Later leaders Jac Pothan (aituc), J. Suribabu (HMS), VS Padmanabha Raju (Cit), B. Lakshman Rao (VDLB), N. Kanaka Rao (Cfti National President) and Chand (Intec) issued a poster on the general strike on 9 July.
They explained that after the acceptance of the conciliation agent, the workers would be treated as a “unlawful” strike with any strike. Workers who resorted to strike against the instructions would have to give up their wages for eight days for each day of strikes. The heads of the trade unions could be imprisoned in addition to the cancellation of registration and recognition of trade unions.
On the other hand, employers who could be imprisoned for non -payment of PF and ESI workers could no longer be imprisoned according to new working codes. In the past, employers followed the rules because non -payment of PF and ESI could land in prison. To get a bail, they had to pay at least 50% arrears. This center was brought by the new law “Jan Viswas”, which lifted 180 different punishments prescribed for non -implementation of working laws under the old rules.
Central and state governments have removed the system of inspection of factories and industries. No law would be introduced without control. Existing laws can be amended by parliament, but new working codes seize state governments to change the codes according to their whims and fantasies.
