On Monday (July 7, 2025), thousands of devotees were witnessed by the great initiation of the temple of Subramanya Swama in the district of thoothuku on Monday.
Ceremonial ceremony, organized by the Hindu religious and charity foundations (HR & CE) after a gap after 16 years, in large numbers from all over Tamil, organized by the Department of Hindu religious and Charity Foundations (HR & CE). Given that the event was to be held early in the morning, pilgrims from neighboring districts and various places throughout the state started to arrive in the temple premises on Sunday (July 6, 2025) noon.

After completion of the 12th phase Yagasala Puja on Monday hours, the holy water was poured to Kumba Kalasa was transmitted in a ceremony in the temple space. The procession culminated with water transported to the designated Vimanas and Gopurams.
The rituals of making the púje for Kumba Kalasa began around 5:50 in the morning, soon after the Holy Water reached the reserved places at the top of Vimanas and GoPurams. The consecration of the Eastern and Western Gopurams and Vimanas was carried out at the same time at the planned time, in the middle of Vedic singing and the distinctive devotion of the crowd singing “Vetrivel Muruganuk Arrogar”.

Kumba Kalasas in advance filled with Millet Kodo was then sanctified by holy water, followed by Deeparadhana. After the rituals of the consecrated events, the holy water was sprayed into devoted drones, which meant a spiritual and technological mixture of the event.
