“There was no time to waste”
“Without accessing the right operating theater, I had to rely on the tools I had on me. To clamp the umbilical cord, I used a hair clip. Pocket knives helped me reduce it after the child was stable. Mother and child were in uncertain state and every second mattered,” Rohit. When he entered, he shared a woman lost consciousness.
He added: “There was no time to waste. We created a temporary van and ensured basic hygiene using available vans. It was a divine intervention that I was present at the moment.”
Mother and child were good because they were then taken to the local hospital by an ambulance. Railway employees quickly agreed in this case.
Dr. Rohit jumped on the train to Hyderabad in time and said, “As a doctor, we must always be ready for emergencies, even in transit. I consider it a blessing that I could help save two lives.”
Passengers and loved ones were amazed when the scene developed.
