The MSR group will establish RISM in collaboration with the University of Albany, New York

The MS Ramaiah Group (MSR) establishes the “Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management (RISM)” in collaboration with the University of Albany (SUNY Albany), New York. RISM is scheduled to come up in Bengaluru and will be inaugurated on June 4, 2026.

Addressing a press conference, MR Jayaram, chairman of Gokula Education Foundation, which runs the MSR group of institutions, said on Monday, “It will be the first university in the country to offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Management courses. RISM will be established in Bengaluru.”

“Through this collaboration, it was decided that we will start RISM. It will be the first unique, brand new, fully equipped, recognized university in India. This university is considered a next generation STEM and management institution,” he added.
