It was a rush of pride that Manima RV, in the household of Eathur, felt for the first time when she saw for the first time along the main road in Kozhikode City. But her pride was short -term when she found such bags of waste all around one such basket in the heart of the city. “These baskets look so elegant and give its surroundings a figure. But abuse beats the purpose,” she lamented.
Kozhikode Corporation has established twins throughout the city to keep the road clean and encourage commuters to immediately store small waste in the stockings, such as caramets or biscuits. It turned out, however, that in some parts of the city it turned out that it was head for the civic body, because people tend to store their home waste, including food and diapers, in and around them.
“We caught several Red people and fined them. Our cleaning staff will clean the baskets immediately in the morning. But the waste bags appear around them within hours,” said S. Jayasree, chairman of the Permanent Corporation Committee.
In addition, the company has appointed an employee in each circle of health to ensure that the baskets are immediately cleaned. In addition, there are plans to absorb about 100 other people into strength.
Mrs. JaySree said Harith Mitram’s mobile app, which allowed home waste collection, had 95% coverage in the city and that most households worked with Harith Karma Sena. However, there are exceptions. “We can only educate those who do not know about the services we provide. This misuse of baskets seems to be a deliberate mischief,” she added.
She complained that the basket steel lid was forcibly removed in some places. “Dianger and medical waste deposits are a source of discomfort for cleaning staff. We have a” Aakri “mobile application for efficient biomedical waste disposal, including diapers and sanitary wipes, except for pipes and syringes. For those who cannot afford the services of the application, ”she added,” she added.
Mrs. JaySree said that a special effort that would be spent on waste management is exhausted by a company of valuable funds and workforce that could be positively used.
