Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that question manipulation in DSC-2025 teacher recruitment is technically impossible.
Responding to allegations made by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) over the recruitment process, Mr. Naidu, who was speaking during the ‘Pedala Sevalo’ programme, said the examination system was designed to eliminate any room for manipulation.
“We created a pool of 3,000 questions and generated 25 question papers for the DSC-2025 exams. The system was programmed to automatically select questions from the pool so there was no scope for manual intervention or manipulation,” he said.
The remarks come in the wake of allegations by former chief minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who alleged that the recruitment process was marred by paper leaks, erasure of candidate details, missing merit lists and lack of transparency.
Rejecting the charges, Mr. Naidu said that candidates eligible under various reservation categories have received appointments as per prescribed norms.
“YSRCP, frustrated with the result, is trying to create doubt and create sentiment among the candidates regarding the DSC-2025 recruitment process for political gain,” he said.
Mr. Naidu said the government will continue to implement its work calendar and conduct recruitment through a robust and transparent mechanism.
Regional development plan
Outlining the government’s vision for balanced regional growth, Mr. Naidu said plans were in the works to develop Andhra Pradesh through three regional growth centers based at Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati.
He said that the proposed Visakhapatnam region would extend upto the district of Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema, while each region will be given attention aimed at promoting all-round development.
Impact on exports
Referring to the impact of the ongoing conflict in West Asia, Mr. Naidu said logistics had proved to be a major challenge for Andhra Pradesh’s export sector.
He noted that exports of aquatic plant products and commercial crops were affected due to disruptions in transportation and supply chains caused by the conflict.
