The “First Bell” digital class for students from I to X, based on revised textbooks, will be broadcast on the Kite Victters from 9 July, said General Education Minister V. Sivankutty.
The Minister addressed video conferencing with a workshop organized by Kite (Kite Infrastructure and Technology for Education) for secondary school teachers in all districts to familiarize them with academic monitoring platforms.
The Minister said that the Kite Victters class were intended to offer students further academic support after changes in school curriculum.
The Minister emphasized the importance of using the Samagra Plus portal for academic planning and monitoring. The portal allows comprehensive monitoring from the lower level to the top and the release of guidelines. “It facilitates the preparation and storage of digital lessons plans for the teacher and the presentation of the plan to the Presidents,” the Minister said.
The portal also provides access to a number of digital resources and includes teachers tools to assess whether their lessons are in line with the work scheme.
The workshop was attended by a total of 2,684 secondary school teachers from 14 districts. Training for educational officers has already been completed.
The CEO of Kite K. Anvar Samath was present.
