The state government almost completed the first round of consulting with farmers at the proposed scheme of the AMARAVATI land association (LPS 2.0), which is focused on the expansion of the capital, according to Tadikonda Miliii Sravan Kumar TDP.
“While most farmers in the capital Amaravati region are willing to say goodbye to their land under LPS to the Office for the Development of the City of AP (APCRDA), several others expressed concern and raised certain requirements that will be earmarked on Saturday to announce Gram Sabho on Nidumukuku.
“Many farmers support the vision of the government, but have raised the relevant issues concerning compensation and future benefits. We will ensure that their votes reach the main minister,” said Mr. Sravan Kumar.
He said that work costs more than 42,000 GBPs have already started in the first phase of Amaravati construction, including government buildings and LPS layout, with a timeline from nine months to three years.
“As the capital is developing, the government receives the influx of proposals from private companies. New mega projects are in pipelines, including quantum valleys, international airport and international sports city, all requires important additional land,” he said.
In order to satisfy the growing demand, LPS 2.0 launched and focused on the assembly of over 47,000 acres across the election district in the Tadikonda in the district of Guntur and Pedacurable in the Palnad district.

Importantly, Mr. Sravan Kumar said that the development according to LPS 2.0 will not financially burden the government or Apcrda. “It will be independent through investment from private companies’ interests. We create a model that is visionary and viable,” Mla said.
Sravan Kumar said that the demand of farmers for revised compensation, especially compared to the market value of already developed land, said, “Even if we understand their concerns, farmers must also realize that the soil values, as soon as the development is completed, have still undertaken to ensure maximum benefits.”
Mr. Sravan Kumar ran over to the previous YSRCP government and accused the former main Minister Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy of stopping development and disturbance of more than 1,200 acrus of capital land in the first phase. “As a result, the NDA government is now forced to obtain land for the proposed sports city under LPS 2.0,” he said.
“Without sports infrastructure, we cannot expect international sports events or raise local talent,” he said.
“Of the proposed 47,000 acres, only 10,000 acres will be available for direct government use after the land is assigned to return land, green zones, public services and infrastructure,” he added.
