Banaganapalle administration launched a massive plantation unit on Saturday to create the headquarters of the mandala “Harith (Green) Banaganapalle”.
As part of the drive, seedlings were set on road workers, government offices, schools, hospitals and other areas. The collection was also excluded from the Minister for Roads and Buildings (R&B) submitted by the Janardhan Reddy office to the gasoline bunk, in which the wife of Mr. Reddy Indira, the district collector Rajakumari Gania and others participated.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy said at a meeting in the Circle gasoline bunker that Banaganapalle enjoyed a large green cover, but the city has now turned into a concrete jungle with huge structures and cement roads. “We want to make this place again” Harith Banaganapalle “,” he said, calling for people to work together.
The Minister said his wife bought 30 £ Lakh worth of trees of different varieties from Kadiyam kindergarten in East Godavari and the same will be planted around the city. “Students and youth should participate in planting seedlings and the inhabitants of the city should take responsibility for the protection of seedlings,” he added.
Mrs. Rajakumari Gania said that these types of programs are only a success with the participation of people. “The change should start from our home and a village that would have any initiative for a good cause of success,” she said.
The Minister’s wife said that every Banaganapalle visitor should feel like a visit to Ashram with a green cover and a clean environment and every individual of the city should work on it.
