Indian-Origin Man sentenced to a lifetime in the UK for rape of a child, attempt to attack

UNITED KINGDOM: The 24 -year -old man of Indian origin was convicted of a lifetime in the UK after he called the Scottish backyard an “significant” investigation of an attempt to rape and rape a child in London.

The man, the Naproop Singh, was issued a life sentence on Friday with a minimum period of 14 years. He was convicted of five accusations, including rape, confirmed the metropolitan police, reported the PTI.

The reigning main superintendent Sean Lynch of the Metropolitan Police said that officials used a combination of forensic, CCTV and witnesses to trace Navroop Singh to build a set of evidence against it.

The Indian original man had previously confessed to three crimes-imitative firearms with the intention of committing the accused crime, rape of a girl under 13 years of age and attacking a girl under 13 years of penetration, according to news agency reports.

In addition, Navroop Singh was convicted of attempting to rape a woman in West London in October 2024 after a four -day court at Isleworth Crown Court.

What led to an investigation

Police officials launched an investigation after a woman announced an attempt to rape 13 October last year.

The police were warned by the victim, who accidentally met two officers outside the service near the Southall Park in Ealing in West London, and then accompanied her to the nearest police station.

Namop Singh was sitting on a bench in Southall Park during the early hours of 13 October and, according to the Metropolitan Police, deliberately waited for a potential victim to pass.
