Minister of Industry and TG Bharath Trade on Saturday (July 5) said he was determined to develop the general hospital of the Government of the Government.
The Minister was here to lay the foundation stone for the diagnostic laboratory of viral research (VRDL) on the premises of the Kurnool Medical College. He said that both GGH and the medical university are prestigious institutions that produced several important doctors. “We are taking steps to develop a hospital at the same level as a corporate hospital,” he said.
He said Vrdl will help doctors to get key tests in the hospital. The laboratory is being built with central funds and the supplier was asked to complete the construction within three months. “We will also take steps to complete the construction of the Out-Pacient section, which was stopped in the middle of the journey after the previous government did not publish funds,” he said, adding that they recently launched a 120-cut CT scan in the hospital.
Officials stated that when the VRDL was established, confirming the flu, dengue, malaria, Covid and other virus -related diseases, the hospital itself could be performed. The center spends £ 60 on the laboratory.
