The Indian cosmic research organization (ISRO) said the Axiom-4 (AX-04) mission, which the Shukla captain is part of the Shukla group, provides valuable inputs for the upcoming Gaganyaan mission.
“Mission AX-04 will provide valuable inputs for the upcoming ISRO Gaganyaan mission. It offers practical experience with the nuances of international crew integration, medical and psychological preparation, real-time telemetry, experiment and crew coordination,” ISRA said.
He added that this knowledge will directly affect missions planning, safety and astronaut readiness for the first Indian native human mission of space flight.
“This is one small step in orbit, but a huge leap in the Indian attempt for human space flights and a scientific discovery,” he added.
ISRO said that preparations are also underway for abortion by Gaganyaan missions and the first uninterrupted test flight is focused on the fourth quarter of 2025.
He added that the first crew flight of the Gaganyaan mission expects the first quarter of 2027.
The Space Agency also said that, as a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of India, the Captain of the Shhukla Group bears the selection of the best Indian crafts at the International Space Station (ISS).
“These symbolic subjects designed by students of the National Institute for Design, Ahmedabad, reflect the diversity, craft and timeless beauty of traditional art forms of India, carefully curative to represent different regions and materials.
