Days after the Maharashtra Government decided to cancel orders to carry out three languages, SHIV Sena (UBT) MP (UBT) Sanjay banquet on Wednesday (July 2, 2025) said he would not accept this policy even in the future.
The State Cabinet on Sunday, June 29, facing a growing opposition to the introduction of Hindi language in Maharashtra schools from classes 1 to 5, decided to withdraw two GRS (government orders) to carry out three languages.

Main Minister Devendra Fadnavis subsequently announced the creation of a committee led by educator Narendra Jadhav to propose a journey forward in language policy.
Mr. Raut, who spoke with reporters, said, “Fadnavis likes to establish committees and sits, but does nothing.” “Jadhav is respected as an economist, but this committee now has no importance. We will not accept the policy of three languages even in the future,” said Rajya Sabha.

In the last three months, more than 1,000 farmers from Maharahtra have died by suicide, said Mr. Raut and asked if the Prime Minister knew about it.
Mr. Raut also said that the government did not properly share the update in the Ahmedabad accident.
He asked about the upcoming meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Delhi and what would do for the party Bharatiya Janata, Raut, “RSS and BJP are like brothers. If RSS wants, it can teach BJP lessons.
