
The Minister of the Union for Coal and Mines by G. Kishan Reddy urged the state government to carry out inspection and regulation over the industry, especially those in the sector of pharmaceuticals and chemicals, under the head of the official to prevent fire accidents and boilers such as those that took 36 persons in private farmat unit on Monday.
Mr. Kishan Reddy said it was an unfortunate accident and it could be the largest boiler explosion that occurred in Hyderabad, and noted that many of them were still missing. Accompanied by the newly elected Party Party N. Ramchander Rao and other local leaders, he visited the place of disaster and asked for relief and rehabilitation measures from the relevant officials.
The growing number of fire accidents recently in the capital region is a matter of concern, he said, and wanted the government to find out whether the department concerned comply with proper mandatory checks. The director of factories and other regulatory bodies should also publish his relevant inspection reports made in the recent past, where there will be a delay, he said.
Workers of pharmaceutical and chemical units should be constantly trained in safety protocols and invited to keep the officials concerned in these aspects. He proposed all industrial units in this area to join in sources and build an ambulance hospital to ensure emergency medicare.
Kishan Reddy said most of the deceased were bad migrant work. Pharma Company’s management should provide reasonable compensation and take care of the surviving family and also injured. The state government should also lend a helping hand, while the party would control the predecessors of the workers to alert the relevant state units to provide assistance to the affected families, said.
The forces of the central government, including security officers from the Ministry of Coal and NDF teams, were put into operation as soon as the explosion occurred, he said. Later, the BJP leaders met with injured workers undergoing Pathacher Hospital and noted that many are still critical.
