INS UDAYGIRI – The second ship of the project 17a Stealth Fregats – was delivered to the Indian Navy and strengthening naval forces and strengthening naval forces and strengthening its naval force.

“Udaygiri was delivered to the Indian Navy at a record period of 37 months from the date of launch,” the ministry said. “It is a modern avatar of its predecessor, a former inshagegiri, a steam ship, discarded on August 24, 2007 after providing 31 years of service to the nation,” he added.
‘Quantum Leap’
“P-17A ships have improved stealth features and are equipped with advanced, state-of-the-art apartment and sensor apartment, which is an important upgrade from the P-17 class,” the ministry said. “Ships are a quantum jump in the internal design capabilities of the Indian Navy in the Office for a War Boat,” he added.
The suite weapon includes a supersonic rocket system of the surface to the surface, the medium range of the surface rocket system, 76 mm and a combination of 30 mm and a 12.7 mm fast fire, according to the ministry.
The main weapons and war ship sensors are obtained from indigenous manufacturers, which means that “Udaygiri is an example of indigenization, which demonstrates the design of national ships, boat construction and engineering fit, allowed by a strong industrial ecosystem supported by more than 200 middle, small and micro -enterprises,” the statement said.
