US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that Israel had agreed to the 60 -day Gaza ceasefire and called Hamas to accept the proposal before the situation was getting worse. Trump wrote about the social truth: “My representatives today got a long and productive encounter with Israelis. Israel has agreed to complete the 60 -day ceasefire, during which we will work with all parties to end the war.”
He did not identify his representatives, but the American special envoy Steve Witkoff, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance were to meet Ron Dermer, head of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
