With the number of devotees who climb the stairs up the hills of Chamundi on Friday Ashada, far beyond expectations, district administration and the Chamundeshwari Temple Office have introduced measures to alleviate the temple access.
The first Ashad on Friday, the huge crowds rushed through the temple and caused a delay in Darshan for devotees who reached the hills by taking steps, while those who have access to Dharmadarshan or special tickets could have a quick Darshan.
Avoid inconvenience
To avoid inconvenience from the second Friday Ashada, devotees who are climbing the stairs will also allow you to join the Dharmadarshan queue for Darshan after all the remaining Friday Ashada.
Free bus services were organized from Lalitha Mahal Palace. Temple Authority urged devoted to use this free service for quick and convenient access to the temple, the press release said.
