
The road accident on early Tuesday 1st July required the life of an unidentified pedestrian and left the policeman injured in a subsequent collision at the overpass Balanagar.
According to Inspector Balanagar T. Narsimha Raju, the incident was reported around 2.30 in the morning when a pedestrian at the age of about 30 went along Nadiev on his way from Balanagar to Kukatpally.
“The man walked after an overpass in the unwilling state, a speed hatchback was hit. The impact of the incident led to his death on the spot,” the clerk explained. The driver of the car, identified as Syed Zafar, 49, the inhabitants of the Turkapally Village, Shamirpet, was taken into custody.
After receiving warnings number 100, the local patrol team and a sub-in-inspector Sarvamkota Venkatesham rushed to the scene. While the officer supervised the body with an ambulance, the vehicle for the transfer goods passengers from Kandlakoya towards Madhapur, hit the ambulance around 3.10 hours
The impact resulted in the injury of Officer Venkatesham and was moved to a private hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable. The driver, 22 -year -old Soni Gond, a native of Bihar, was also taken into custody. Another investigation is underway.
