
Former Minister Ravindra Chavan was unanimously elected as Maharashtra Party Party Bharatiya Janata (BJP). The decision to appoint Ravindra Chavan for President Maharashtra BJP was adopted at a party meeting in Mumbai. The announcement was made by the Minister of the Union and the central observer BJP Kiren Rijiju. Development comes just before major urban surveys of public opinion.
Kiren Rijia announced his name and said, “I declare the election of Ravindra Chavanová as the new state president BJP. He was elected unanimously. He has already served in various organizational roles.”
With his election as the head of Maharashtra BJP, Ravindra Chavan, also a close assistant of the Chief Minister of Devel Fadnavis, replaces the Minister of Income ChandraShekhar Bawankle.
Chandrashekhar Bawankule held the place of chief Maharashtra BJP since August 2022.
